That is too many outgoing links offered for your commentators. I hope this will bring more traffic and comments to your blog.

  2. What I find interesting is how many people who have an opportunity to place a comment and get a back link ignore any instructions. As an example I have a blog where I have posted a set of guidelines for blog comments where if you follow those guidelines the comment will be approved and the link is followed. Basically all I ask is an intelligent comment that adds to the discussion and is on topic. (Very similar to what you ask above) Even so I get garbage like the following:

Nice post! I might really listen to what you are trying to get out. For the most part your entire blog is tremendous… I am digging it. Well Wishes!

Or a comment that simply tries to promote their own interests.

I post specific guidelines and yet very few people seem to be able to follow those blog posting guidelines amazing!

I hear ya, Jim. My spam folder is full of rediculous comments that go on and on about…nothing. Spammers!
I just hit delete and go on to my quality commenters!

I applaud the valuable info you offer in your articles. I will bookmark your website and have my kids check up here regularly. I am quite sure they will learn lots of new stuff here than anybody else!

  5. Jean from GPS Fleet Vehicle Tracking says:

I was reading through the original article and followup comments. A good principal to keep in mind is the saying, “make the host look good!” I’m not sure who said it but is makes so much sense. If your goal in this case is to get your comment and link approved, is not the best way to do this to make the host or in this case the blog post look good. Such that people see good content that they want to link to and come back again to read more. In reality if you make a good comment on a blog with good content, why would you not want to link back to it from one of your blogs or sites? It can only give your comment and link more search engine weight.

  6. Johnny from Detox Products says:

That’s awesome! I’ve always personally thought, that if somebody takes the time to read what you write and make an intelligent comment, that a link to their site is a good trade off.

For my dofollow sites, I do the same thing. Just keep a close eye on what people leave as comments. If it’s something generic and doesn’t add to the conversation, I delete the link. I’ve always found that it helps a site, as more and more people return.

  7. Feli from Large Dog Bed says:

Advantageously, the article is actually the sweetest on this deserving topic. I harmonise with your conclusions and will eagerly look forward to your coming updates. Just saying thanks will not just be sufficient, for the phenomenal lucidity in your writing. I will immediately grab your rss feed to stay abreast of any updates. Authentic work and much success in your business endeavors!

  8. chip from san diego moving companies says:

  10. Here’s an interesting concept. Could it be the blog comments we receive are a microcosm of the world of internet marketing or business in general. You have the people just trying to make a quick buck – these are the ones trying to use some automated program to auto-populate blogs with stupid non-relevant content. Then you have the ones who want to do the minimum it takes just to get by. These are the ones that say, “Great blog” or “Super info!”
All the way up to those who leave thought provoking comments that continue the conversation in a worthwhile manner. These are typically the small minority of people that are the higher achievers not because they are more intelligent but because they were simply willing to do what most others aren’t willing to do.

I put our dog on glucosamine last year after he started limping. AT first we were not sure if it was a muscle strain or a joint problem because he had been for a few very long walks prior to us noticing his limping.
he was on the treatment ( a 35 kg white labrador – taller than most) for 3 months. Now he is walking and running the most he has ever done and is far better than he was before. I havent seen him limp since. Like humans, dogs need joint support too.

I had also put my Rottweiler on glucosamine a year or so ago. She was 13 at the time and turned back into a puppy. What a difference that treatment made. Now she is running around chasing all the birds in the backyard.

  13. Glucosamine for dogs as well as humans has been proven to be beneficial for joint problems. I have old German Shepherds and I use it religiously. In fact, I take it when I work out … especially right before a heavy workout.

  14. Glucosamine is something i certainly haven’t heard of at all. This could be because i’m not a dog owner but this has been an interesting read all the same.
One more thing i can say i know about that i didn’t know before!

Great post and thanks for the information.

  15. Old Cars says:

Commenting on DoFollow blogs are very good to get the backlinks and also it has to check whether one is doing relevant comments on it or not, as this will definitely lead to spam comments also.

  16. Follow Blog, Keyword Luv,Comment Luv & Top Commenters are brilliant ideas, linking documents is what the web is all about essentially! However they still need moderation to get rid off the spammy comments like great post thanks or great blog

  17. brian from wickerdogbasket.com says:

I see from another comment to your site that glucosamine has

been very beneficial for their elderly dalmation. I also have a

dalmation that is reaching its “later” years and it is encouraging

to learn from reading your excellent blog – and the confirmation

frm someone esle – that there is much that can be done to

    alleviate the problem of arthritis.

As you suggest it is vital to keep a watchful eye on how your

dog moves and especially after he has been asleep or resting.

Preventon is always better than cure, so we are fortunate that

we can start to give our dog the supplement before there is

    any evidence of arthritis.

  18. Joe Dyer says:

My seven year olg Black labrador has hip dysplasia he has been on anti-inflammatory medications since he was six months old.

His medication does include a Glucosamine supliment. I am not a vet and therefore will not give any advice on medication.

I am happy to advise on the other most important aspect of treatment.

    Your Dogs lifestyle.

Any dog with hip dysplasia should be kept fit and trim as any excess weight will obviously aggravate the condition, but good muscle tone will help to support the dog’s weight. Swimming is an excellent form of exercise which builds up the muscle without stress

Get to know your dogs body language, watch his gait and the way he is moving generally.
Walks should be regular but not too long. Try to avoid over exitement, running, ball throwing etc. This will reduce the impact stress on his joints.
If your dog has over exerted himself you will notice, just let him rest maybe skip his next walk.

Dogs with HD find it very difficult to cope with hard floors. I have carpet runners in the kitchen and a large mat in his feeding area this is a must.

  20. Xowii says:

I have a blog that was PR2 and recently it went to a PR3 and I get so many freaking spam messages! I can’t even keep up with half of them. Some of them do not even bother to read the post that they spam on!

  21. hey wholesale salvia I agree, but I also think that installing Dofollow,CommentLuv and KeywordLuv plugins is the ultimate way to share some link love to your visitors, unfortunately these plugins is a spam invitation for many and i don’t talk about bots,I’m talking about real humans that don’t even take the time to read the post and leave garbage comments like “nice article” “great post”. I hope we fix this problem

  22. Dominic from Affiliate Marketing says:

Plug ins like these will help site owners and blog owners like never before. But its success remains in the hand of blog owner who must give good amount of time to moderate their blogs.
